ACTIVITIES

The Department of Statistics conducted All Kerala Intercollegiate Statistics Quiz Competition organized by Old Students Forum, CUSAT on 3 rd February 2020. Dr.Sreenivas PC, Principal, Payyanur College, Payyanur inaugurated the function and Sri.Ajay Babu K, Union Chairman, Payyanur College, Payyanur distributed prizes to the winners.

The workshop has been conducted from 12 th May 2017 to 14 th May 2017 for the researchers in Social Sciences. Eminent scholars Dr.K.N.Ganesh inaugurated the workshop. Dr.K.N.Ganesh Dr.K.P.Rajesh, Dr.K.Rajesh, Dr.Gregory.S, Dr.T.K.Anandy delivered talks. Selected researchers and students in and outside Kerala attended the workshop.

The Department of Statistics conducted a one-day seminar and Dr.U.S.Nair memorial Statistics quiz competition (Kannur university regional level) joining with Kerala Statistical Association (KSA) Dr.A.P.Kuttykrishnan, the Former Pro-Vice Chancellor, Kannur University inaugurated the seminar.Dr.Joby.K.Jose delivered a talk on Basics of Statistical Data Analysis. Dr.K.Radhakrishnan Nair conducted quiz competition. Students from 7 colleges were participated in the seminar. Dr.P.V.Premavalli presented prizes to the winners.
