This one-of-a-kind event offered a mobile museum experience like no other, bringing history and culture directly to students. This exhibition promised to showcase the vibrant history and traditions of the region on 19th March 2024 through mobile museum, offering student visitors from Edanad West U P School Payyanur, a unique opportunity to learn and appreciate the rich cultural heritage of Malabar. The Department Museum Exhibition plays a vital role in the preservation of the cultural heritage of the region. By curating and showcasing artifacts, artworks, and historical documents, the exhibition not only educates students about the history of Malabar but also helps in preserving these valuable pieces of heritage for future generations.

The quiz competition at LE PASSE 2024 was the perfect opportunity to put knowledge to the test. From questions about famous historical events to trivia about different cultures around the world, participants had the chance to showcase their intellect. The fun games at LE PASSE 2024 were designed to entertain and engage visitors of all ages. Historical and Cultural Exhibition: A Journey Through Time Stepped into a world of wonder and discovery at the historical and cultural exhibition at LE PASSE 2024. It was a stroll through time as one explores artifacts, artworks, and exhibits that showcase the rich history and diverse cultures of the India. Department of History in association with School of Social Sciences, MG University and University of Chieti Italy, organized a four-day international workshop focused on bead making technologies in premodern India from 1st to 4th December 2023. During the workshop, participants had the unique opportunity to learn from experts about bead making techniques in ancient Indian art. From hands-on demonstrations to insightful lectures, attendees will gain valuable knowledge about the evolution of bead making technologies in premodern India.

One of the highlights of the year was the department's annual Research Methodology Workshop, was organized by the Social Science Forum Payyanur College, from 19th November to 25th November 2023 where faculty, students, and guest speakers came together to present their research on a variety of historical topics. A poster exhibition was organized on 24th August 2023 by Social Science Forum, Payyanur College as part of the 75th anniversary of Indian Independence. College Principal Dr. Santhosh V M inaugurated the program held at             Western Block.
