A blood donation camp was jointly organized by Payyannur College NSS Unit 11, Baby Memorial Hospital, Kannur, and the Blood is Red Collective. As part of the Mega Blood Donation Drive and the world’s largest blood donation campaign — Raktadaan Amrit Mahotsav 2.0, the camp was held at Payyannur College and was inaugurated by Mrs. K. V. Lalitha, Chairperson of Payyannur Municipality. The program was presided over by Dr. V. M. Santhosh, Principal of Payyannur College. Dr. Roshan Chandran, Mr. Hussain K., Mr. Adarsh K., Mr. Saneesh P., NSS Unit 11 Programme Officer Dr. Manju R. Nath, and Unit Secretary Abin Prakash addressed the gathering. Out of 115 registrations, a total of 56 students and faculty members of payyanur college successfully donated blood, contributing to this noble humanitarian cause.
