E-Resources

N-LIST stands for “National Library and Information Services Infrastructure for Scholarly Content”. The programme was funded by the MHRD under NME-ICT to extend access to selected e-resources to colleges covered under section 12B of UGC Act as well as to Non-aided College. The programme has
submitted under e-ShodhSindhu (eSS) consortium as college component from year 2014 being funded by University Grants Commission.
Dear Students, College has subscribed to N-LIST which offers immense access to variety of educational and informative resources (E books and E Journals). Users will have to click on members Login through NLIST website. It will display list of E-Resources to access its full-texts.
Once user details have been successfully uploaded on this service. You will receive activation links and some of you will receive in a couple of days (Inform Librarian). You will receive an email from N-LIST in which you will be given an activation link. You will click on that link that will lead you to a page were you will be asked for ID and Password. Your email id will act as your user ID example xyzabc@gmail.com and the password example WO987654321 (which will be given in your mail ID). Once you activate your account you will be able to access the diverse educational resources in the form of E-Resources. After activation whenever you want to access the resources type below mentioned website on your browser.

The College has also been accepted as an institutional member of DELNET. This allows users to access the Major Digital Library Resource in South Asia, with 3,50,00,000+ books available for loan,1,00,000+ list of journals, 5,000+ full-text e-journals and 1,00,000+ thesis/dissertations.

Bookshare is an ebook library that makes reading easier. Members can access a huge collection of ebooks and read their way with the most customizable ebooks for people with reading barriers. Bookshare audiobooks and ebooks are transformative. They make it easier for students with learning differences to read with powerful assistive reading features. Students can listen to books, follow with word-level highlighting, read in large text or braille, and customize their reading experience to learn in ways that work for them. The library has over 1 million titles and is the most extensive collection of accessible ebooks in the world. It includes books for school, career, and reading pleasure, as well as titles in over 40 languages. The collection is supported by partnerships with over 1,000 US and international publishers and a dedicated volunteer community. Bookshare operates in the U.S. under a copyright exemption—the Chafee Amendment—which grants non-profit organizations the ability to make books available to people with print disabilities without publisher permission. Bookshare receives publisher permission to provide books to members outside the U.S.

The Central Library is  fully automated  using the software named Book Magic for the In- house Management. Book magic enables customizable search, book circulation,barcode printing, Report generation etc. The catalogue of the library is available online. (WEBOPAC). It is possible to know the details and availability of all the books at any time and anywhere.
