Inauguration of the High-Tech Seminar Hall set up at a cost of Rs.65 lakhs with the financial support from Sri. John Brittas MP (MPLADS - 25 lakhs), College Management, Alumni, Staff, and PTA. The project was piloted by Payyanur College General Alumni Association. Sri. John Britas MP inaugurated the hall. He also handed over the Alumni Association's memento to the college for securing 'A+' grade in the NAAC re-accreditation.

A new High-Tec Seminar Hall construction is going on in the college campus which was sponsored by Payyanur College General Alumni Association in association with Hon. M.P. (Rajya Sabha) Sri John Brittas and Payyanur Educational Society.

Career training for college students in association with Commerce Department on 18, 29, 30 September & 1 October 2022

As part of Golden Jubilee celebration of B.Sc. Chemistry Course, Payyanur College, Payyanur, a monument of Fullerene was sponsored by the first B.Sc. Chemistry batch (1969-72) on      28 September 2022. Dedication of the monument was done by Prof. T.V. Achuthan Nair (First HoD of Chemistry, Payyanur College). Welcome Address was done by Sri N. V. Ramakrishnan Master (Alumnus, 1^st Batch) and Presidential address by Sri T. V Gangadharan (Alumnus, 1^st Batch). Dr. P Balakrishnan (President, General Alumni Association) and Prof. NK Govindan (President, Chemistry Alumni Association were present in the function.
