NSS Unit 10 of Payyanur College awarded the best NSS Unit in Kannur University, Dr. K. V. Sujith awarded the best programme officer

Payyanur College has a long history of committed NSS work and producing desirable results in rendering the right kind of service. NSS Unit 10 of Payyanur College had a bunch of enthusiastic, hardworking and committed students. With the right leadership from the programme officer Dr. Sujith K.V. who is determined to work and serve they were able to do a great job. Therefore this award comes with no surprises, but they got what they worked for. “We feel extremely happy and proud of this achievement, says Aswin Krishna V. M. an NSS Volunteer of NSS unit 10. We conducted a Food Fest with food cooked by the volunteers cooked at home to fund the construction of Snehaveedu and we painted our faces and campaigned to spread awareness about LGBTQ rights and celebrate the Pride month. We also took classes for students of Edanad UP school, to name a few of the activities that we undertook. Our programme officer Dr. Sujith K. V. was always with us guiding us to enjoy services and go uphill. We are excited that our efforts are recognised. “
