    NCC

    National Service Scheme (NSS) : Three National Service Scheme Unites of 100 Volunteers each function in the college. The aim of National Service Scheme is to foster national awareness and social responsibility among the students and to help them in the implementation of service projectes to benifit the people in the surrounding areas. Adoption of a village, undertaking, scial service project and campus and conduct of Adult Education courses are some of the activities of the scheme.

    Coaching Classes

    Coaching Classes for Entry in Services: Special Coaching classes are conducted in the college for entry in services for students belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer) and minorities, with the fi nancial assistance of U.G.C. Presently there are five Batches (2 Batches for UG students & 3 Batches for P.G. students)

    Additional Skill Acquisition Programme

    ASAP: ASAP (Additional Skill Acquisition Programme) is a joint initiative of the departments of General Education and Higher Education, Government of Kerala to ensure well-trained working force in different sectors of the economy by providing additional skill sets to students along with their regular courses. The one-year ASAP Level-1 programme is a combination of three courses, namely Communication Skills in English, Basics of IT, and an elective Skill Course. The programmes are developed, delivered, assessed and certified with the active participation of the related industries to ensure labour market acceptance of the participants. A maximum of 35 students from any of the first year degree courses can join this programme every year.
