Prof. A Venugopalan Master Scholarship

Prof A Venugopalan Master Scholarship is awarded to two meritorious and academically committed students of third year BSc Mathematics in need of financial support. A onetime amount of Rs 5000/- is awarded to two qualifying students every year. Family of Prof. A Venugopalan has constituted this scholarship to honor his memory and his commitment towards students.

 The Department of Mathematics of Payyanur College, Payyanur affiliated to Kannur University was sanctioned during the year of 1965. At the time of its inception, Prof. A Venugopalan was appointed as faculty of department. He had been the Head of the Department of Mathematics from 1993 to 2001 and had also served as the Principal-in-charge of Payyanur College.

Prof. A Venugopalan Master Scholarship of academic year 2019-20 was awarded to Dhanasree K V and Sranya C V of third year BSc Mathematics on 6^th February 2021. This function was inaugurated by Dr T C Easwaran Nambudiri .

Prof A Venugopalan Master Scholarship 2021-22

Prof A Venugopalan Master Scholarship of academic year 2020-21 was awarded to Malavika Unni and Aswathi K V of third year BSc Mathematics on 3^rd March 2021. This function was inaugurated by Dr K T Ravindran.

Prof A Venugopalan Master Scholarship 2022-23

Prof A Venugopalan Master Scholarship of academic year 2021-22 was awarded to Anjali V V and Aparna V Nambiar of third year BSc Mathematics on 21^st December 2022. This function was inaugurated by Dr K T Ravindran. The Scholarship was distributed by Dr M Meera (Wife of Prof A Venugopalan)
